  Very good value. The Talbot Inn is small, personable, and very well run. A very relaxing stay had.

  Location was excellent for reaching Blenheim Place and Woodstock by car. We arrived early simply to touch base and use the facilities. We were advised our room was ready and we could check in immediately. We booked the evening meal for the first night, and were impressed enough to book the following evening. The food including breakfast was very good. The staff attentive.

  The Talbot is an Inn of some original age and hence is close to a road. However, the road noise was not invasive as the rooms are to the side/rear.

  An enjoyable stay whilst visiting the area.

  Everything was very clean and comfortable, the food was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. Parking was easy.

  Quiet, clean, cosy and everything you could need for a one or two night stay

  Very convenient location for us to visit The Cotswold Wildlife Zoo and also Jeremy Clarkson's pub. Plenty of parking. Roadside location but our room was at the rear, very very quiet. You do need to walk outside between the rooms and the pub/restaurant but we were lucky it was not raining, they do supply umbrellas. Small room but it had everything we could need for a one night stay. Tea/coffee tray with biscuits and water. Flat screen TV. Very comfy bed. Clean. Small shower/wc but very clean and modern. It could do with a bit more shelving for toiletries. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Small section with cereals, fruit juice and toast. Table service for coffees and hot options. Full English was delicious. The bar/restaurant is quaint and cosy. Lots of seating but no lounge type area. We didn't eat in the restaurant because we'd been for lunch at Clarkson's Pub but we had drinks and played cards at one of the tables in the restaurant area. Very friendly staff. The pub is located next to a large industrial company but totally quiet. There is a lit outside smoking/drinking seating area. We would definitely recommend this place and we would certainly return

  A very nice pub hotel with lovely staff.

  Location was exactly where we needed to be for the Thames Path. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Food was delicious and breakfast was plentiful.

  Great location for what we wanted and helpful staff.

  We had to leave very early. The Talbot Inn offered to provide a cold breakfast including milk so that we could have a cup of tea. Rooms were very nice. Parking was easy. Location for Blenheim palace was very convenient.

  It would have been good if there was a small fridge for milk. Also, the single beds were very small and I am only medium height. The bathroom was lacking hand soap. A little bit on the pricey side for a room.
