    DO NOT STAY if DISABLED!!!

    I have written separately to Tap Motel/Restaurant. The Motel SHOULD REFRAIN from advertising ACCESSIBLE ROOMS, as the Staff assured my Husband on our arrival! H&S issues numerous!!! Approach to Accommodation block by narrow pavement TOO narrow for wheelchairs, walking frames and pushchairs! Room NOT wheelchair accessible, certainly UNABLE to get into Bathroom. Toilet seat TOO Low (needed assistance), Mirror/Basin TOO high! I deliberately sent Tap Motel an email asking 'Accessible or not'? upon booking, Tap Motel IGNORED my email, NO RESPONSE! Restaurant HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, although booked a Table, was told 'NO BOOKING', eventually found a table, Food/Service EXCELLENT! Tap Motel are DEFRAUDING their Disabled Guests!

    Room was clean and comfortable although the mattress wasn’t very comfortable. It’s a shame the view out of the window couldn’t be tied up. The pub itself is brilliant and the food and service is outstanding

    basic clean comfortable place to stay

    Room was clean and basic with good shower in the bathroom. Relatively small room with dated decor and could do with a refresh. functional and adequate if you just need a bed for the night. Adjoining pub is nice inside with outside terrace and local beer brewed onsight. Quick taxi or 15 minute walk from the centre of Ashby De La Zouch. Really nice engaging staff
