The landlord was strange, wanted us to go off Booking.com and pay her privately.
The Breakfast was good. The bed itself was comfortable.
The landlord wanted us to pay in her personal bank account. She became very angry and upset when we refused to pay her account and told her that booking.com is safer. She had many rules in her bnb which I found strange. EDIT: My review was not about where the money ultimately ends up. I fully understand that guests pay accommodation providers for their stay. Guests should never feel pressured to move payment away from the platform through which they booked, particularly when the reason given is to avoid platform or card processing fees. From a guest's perspective, this reduces the protections and transparency that booking through a recognised platform is intended to provide. Regarding the rules, guests will have different opinions. I personally found the number of instructions given on arrival to be unusual compared with other places I have stayed, and this contributed to my overall impression of the stay.
