Outstanding
Everything was thought of, the small details that make a difference were wonderful. The bath robes, complementary water, wine and buscuits, wardrobes with hangers and a safe, toiletries etc etc. the breakfast was amazing and cooked to order. Can’t praise this place highly enough. We’ll be back!

Very enjoyable with a lovely old building.
The location was lovely - a rural setting but very near to Slapton Sands, Beesands, etc. The beer gardens to the front of the hotel were lovely for relaxing on summer evenings after a day at the beach. Welcoming signs in the car park and at the breakfast table made us feel valued as customers.
Slightly disappointed not to be able to sample more of the evening menu, as we stayed for three nights including Sunday and Monday, both of which evenings meals were not available - but we did understood the need for staff to have time off after a busy Saturday night and probably equally busy Sunday lunchtime!

It was very successful.
The breakfast was fine. The building was historic but very comfirtable.
The A379 was ruined and disrupted the trafic.
