    This is the best location in Manteo, hands-down. Quite in the evening, beautiful sunrises from the deck in the mornings and central to everything Manteo has to offer.

    Beautiful historic place , very nicely , maintained. Also very convenient to the distillery and other places of our interests.

    Weill, no elevator of course, and it was very hot. So had I not been in good physical shape, as a 66 year-old, I might have struggled with getting our luggage up to our room as we were on the next to the top floor. Its something that maybe could be mentioned on their information section of their site.

    Slight problem with dinner waiter on first night who was grumpy & rude so no tip Obviously having a bad day
