Quiet during the night. Staff all polite & helpful. Food to a high standard. Everything you would need was in the room. Room well designed. Appreciated a socket to charge my phone beside my bed.
The rooms are directly underneath the bar area. It does go quiet after 10•30pm & I knew that before I booked & that was not the issue. But come 7•30am the cleaning would start & you would hear tables being moved & the Henry Hoover being banged against the skirtings. I was getting up anyway but please be aware of the noise & location of the rooms when the cleaning is being done. I don't intentionally want to highlight one area but when we are having breakfast do we have to have the Henry Hoover being run accross the carpet below our table & literally around our feet ? When I was there someone fell down the stairs. When the floor is being mopped we have no choice but to walk over the wet floor to enter & order breakfast. More wet floor signs need to be placed i only saw one for the whole bar area. Why can the floor not get mopped before the 8am breakfast slot be dry by 8am & start the hoovering 8am+ when the guests are likely to be up & about so any banging or ramming into the skirting boards would not matter ? My kettle did not work but that was very quickly sorted. The shower was "Warm" at best & the hoze does not fix still on the rod. Cobwebs we're in the corners but the room was clean bedding too. The room was good value. I would stay again in the same room again if the shower was made hotter & the fixings on it were sorted.

Nice location and great view from the clean and tidy room. Lack of wi-fi let it down for me.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Nice view onto the golf course. Evening meal in the bar was good ad breakfast was available in the morning (I didn't have it though).
The wi-fi didn't work in my room and the cellular signal was soo weak that I couldn't hot spot on my phone. The staff showed little interest in investigating the wi-fi issue. Getting to the rooms is through the bar. Not ideal if you've got much luggage (or the bar is busy). The shower head rail fixing was loose, so the shower head would drop down.
