    Lovely place to stay overall.

    It's very clean and easy to stay at with decent rates. The beds are very comfortable, and there is parking onsite, which is a huge bonus in San Clemente. You can walk downtown very easily, and it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

    I have stayed here before, and now they charge for parking, which is new. Kind of a bummer because street parking is a hassle.

    I booked The Pier Room for an event. The room was set up with cheap plastic cups and the staff never came to check on our event. Email correspondence with the Sales manager was sparse and made us feel as if we were bothering her. The emails were rude and the lacking 'hospitalitylity' to make us feel welcome and appreciated. I would not recommend this hotel for events.

    Good location but needs renovation.

    Good location

    The hotel is in need of a renovation, everything looks old. The cleaning could be better and I think it’s a bit expensive for what you get.
