A quick trip but the accommodation was amazing, with a spectacular view, and close to everything!
The view from almost every room in the Watch House is amazing. You can see all of Bicheno, the rocks, Diamond Island, town centre, the beaches, it's just gorgeous. The house is located in a quiet Cul de sac, set over 2 levels, is quite spacious and has 3 decks you can gather on. The rooms are nice and big, plenty of hanging/storage space for your clothes, etc. Bathrooms are nice and big too, again, plenty of storage space. There were heaters/air cons in each of the bedrooms. Big kitchen and laundry, both were well equipped if you wanted to cook meals. A couple of coffee machines were available also. The house was neat and tidy and very clean. The lounge was small-ish in comparison to the rest of the house, but there were only 4 of us so it was perfect, as was the pair of leather, electric reclining couches, nice and comfy. Wi-Fi was great and easy to connect to. Everything was close by, all within walking distance, which is fantastic if you want to sample some of the local wines and beers at The Bich or the Bicheno Brewery and not have to worry about driving home.
Minor things really, but a full-size ironing board would have been great, only a small tabletop one was available, they work in small hotel rooms, but a big house like this with a massive laundry can definitely store a full-sized ironing board. Most people don't care when they are on holidays at the beach, but we like to iron our clothes. The iron was great though. Tv's in the bedrooms were tiny, they looked like iPads on the walls. Not that we could test them out because there were no remotes that would work on them. We went and bought new batteries in case they were flat, but then realised the remotes didn't match the TV's. Again, might be a minor thing for some, but the weather wasn't great on one of the days, the guys were watching Car Racing, the girls would have liked to watch something else. During summer though, I imagine there are better things to do than watch tv, but it's nice when the weather is not great or if kids need some chill time.

We had a relaxing stay in this lovely house.
Magnificent views, the house is very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
An electric clothes dryer would be useful.
