Excellent friendly and accomodating staff and tasty food at reasonable price

The staff were attentive and really welcoming. We were late for our dinner reservation but they were happy to accomodate nonetheless. They were knowledable about the menu, brewery, history of the mill and the surrounding area. Excellent! The food was better than anticipated and reasonably proced. I had the fish and chips. Fresh haddock in home made super crispy batter with home cooked chips. My friend had a generous Pork chop which was tasty and succulent with crispy crackling. Extensive range of ale and beers, some of which were fresh from the onsite brewery. Also a good choice at breakfast. There was a big car park at the rear.

Although this was included in room description, the attic (room no.5) had more restricted headroom on one side than expected, which meant you needed to be careful getting out of the double bed one side! Some EV car chargers in the carpark would encourage me to return.
