Perfect for a trip to St Davids
The Waterings is an ideal place to stay for exploring St Davids and the peninsula. The location was great being only a couple of minutes walk from the High Street. Caerfai Bay and the coast path was also close by. The accommodation was so nice. It was clean, spacious, practical and very comfortable. There was a dining area in the room with table and chairs, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, cutlery, crockery and a fridge. There was also a communal dining area outside of the room just across the courtyard with lots for provisions laid on which made for a perfect breakfast. That was a nice surprise thank you. Will was in touch before, during and after my stay and made the whole process very easy. He was really friendly and easy to chat to. It really is a great place to base yourself on a trip to St Davids and I hope to be back soon.

Excellent place to stay

A pleasant, quiet stay in a covenient location with a fabulous self service continental breakfast.
Nice location near to the village and coastal walks. Excellent continental breakfast with the opportunity to be flexible with self service.
Double Bed felt small, gardens were in need of maintenance.

Great value accommodation with good parking, perfect for exploring St Davids
This is great value, easy to access, accommodation on the edge of St Davids. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Short walk into the city. Generously sized room. Very quiet location. The room was nicely decorated with stunning photos and artwork of lifeboats, which reflects Will the owner's role as Cox of the local lifeboat. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Will which was a shame. Check-in/checkout was all done remotely and for us which wasn't a problem. There is a basic self service continental breakfast available, we didn't partake and used the recommendation of the Mill Cafe for a cooked breakfast which was excellent and only five minutes walk. Given the price paid, we didn't see any issue with this.
