Very nice inexpensive lodging.
Not sure why the confusing reference in the address, to Ryanbay when the holiday park is Wigbay and Ryanbay is 8 miles away.

Perfect for a mini break with family
Location, the views, well appointed kitchen and living area, soft play for little ones
The booking said no pets. However it was clear when we arrived that dogs had recently/ regularly stayed as my husband is allergic so we had to do an emergency run to the shops for antihistamines. We understand that people might have pets but a little heads up in advance would have meant we could have been prepared.

We will be back
Undoubtedly the best chalet we have stayed in. Overlooking a loch the view is phenomenal and the location was quiet and very well kept. Instructions on arrival were very clear. The chalet is beautifully decorated with a highland theme and very comfortable. We took our puppy on his first holiday and there was ample room for his crate and lots of grass to walk him and he loved looking out of the window. We were left a lovely welcome pack of toiletries which came in very handy as I’d forgotten mine and there is a gas fire, under plinth heating and an oil filled radiator but we didn’t need them . The master bedroom was surprising spacious with wardrobes and a vanity area and lights with built in usb/usc charging points. The cupboards were well stocked with crockery, glasses and utensils, there’s a full cooker, microwave and an air fryer too. On the opposite side of the loch is a ferry point and we had a day trip to Belfast to see Giants Causeway which was breathtaking. We had some excellent meals And the Crown at Portpatrick was outstanding and there is a craft fair opposite selling quite unique gifts. The scenery in Stranraer is beautiful roads are very well maintained and the people are very friendly. We intend to return.
We couldn’t stay longer
