Could not sleep due to the inadequate room location , noise , lack of air conditioning
Food at restaurant the one night we stayed was good
Room should not be sold as a room It was adjunct to main hotel in between two min access doors and reception. We travelled extensively across the UK this was our worst accommodation experience. The room previously had animals staying it. It was not air conditioned & every bit of noise from adjacent foyer and access corridor to main hotel could be heard within room . We left after one night of a three night stay - no sleep.

Do not stay here in warm weather
Lovely hotel but spoiled by lying staff
We had 3 night booked, the heat in the hotel is extreme in summer and it has No Air Conditioning anywhere. The rooms at night were unbearable we had to book another hotel after the first night the manager agreed they would refund the third night so we proceeded to book the other hotel. We contacted the hotel a few days later to check on refund but they refused any refund and denied any agreement. I would not recommend this hotel and definitely not suitable for a family with kids if temps are above 25deg. Windows do not have adequate safety latches so not safe to leave open at night.

Really good except for staffing the reception.
I have stayed many times. Love the hotels, rooms, restaurant and quality.
Most times there has been no one on reception and nobody has responded to the call bell after pressing it a number of times. I have had to carry my bags through to bar to find someone to check me in.
