    The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The meals were fantastic, with a varied menu. Foods were locally sourced. Very comfortable room and homely atmosphere.

    Check in by a member of staff was fine, disappointed with choice of evening meal. Room 2 was small with an even smaller bathroom. Ordered cooked breakfast night before, expected cereal and fruit juice as well; had to ask for juice. For £135 for the night thought it was poor value.

    Enjoyable weekend

    Room was rather small but it was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Juliet was lovely
