We just really had a nice time at The Wild Game Inn! Great place to stay for our four-wheeling trip or any other Western
A lovely spot in a beautiful part of the country! Dave was a great host, and we enjoyed our breakfast on the front porch each morning as well as the grounds of the Inn and surrounding area!
Mentioned to Dave that our cabin could use another mirror in the main area (so two people could get ready at the same time). Fortunately, he was able to get me a lighted, stand-up mirror - so that was awesome!

Very good
The host was knowledgeable about the area and took us on an amazing ATV tour of the mountains. The cabin was clean and thoughtfully equipped. The meals were delicious and hosts were very attentive.
There were not any common places indoors to congregate with our friends in the evening. The booking website was not accurate for the types of rooms available.

Let me preface this review, with the fact that Expedia listed this property as in Darby, Montana, when in fact it was an hour outside of Darby essentially, and I also did not expect it to be a "bed and breakfast" as we booked in a hurry, and it was buried in the details. Our biggest issue was that it says "Children Welcome", yet, we were charged an additional $50 for our two kids, when we arrived, and told that our 4 year old was a problem because they didn't take kids under 10, which was not listed on anything prior to booking even when we went back to check. We felt it was a little rude to be told that, but we did appreciate the late check in as we were traveling from glacier. Anyway, the property itself, is beautiful. The cabins, are essentially small storage buildings with a bathroom, loft area, and bed. No AC, but stayed cool with windows open at night. They are finished well inside with shiplap etc, and fine for a nights stay. Everything was clean as well. However, I do feel it's over priced. Overall, it was disappointing to be greeted with negativity about having our kids with us, and surprised with extra charges, however, take that away and the property is nice, if overpriced.

Frankly, my wife and I stayed here because it was the only room we could find available in the area. My first concern was the distance from the highway. This, however, was not an issue. The road is in great shape, you can cruise around 60 mph most of the way. Only the last half mile is unpaved and its not bad. Altogether, a wonderful drive. We were met at the main lodge by David, who was an outstanding host. Very pleasant and accommodating, he offered us the guest room in the lodge. The lodge was comfortable and clean, in the style you would expect in a Montana B&B. Breakfast was outstanding, the conversation was good, and grounds were in top shape. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Wild Game Inn to anyone, and hope someday to return.
