The location was easy enough to find and conveniently located near a bus stop. Buses there go directly to the Glencoe Visitor Centre, which was my destination most days. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. My room felt like an actual bedroom you'd find in a home; clean, well-decorated and comfortable. This was my favourite stay during my multi-week backpack trip by far.

Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal das Woolly Rock buchen, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Glencoe sind!
Tolles, bequemes Bett, an Gemütlichkeit nicht zu überbieten. Das Frühstück war das Beste, das wir in Schottland bekommen haben. Die Dusche hatte einen tollen Wasserdruck, generell die Qualität von allem war wirklich hoch!
Es ist hellhörig, ja. Wenn man mit Freunden oder alleine tagsüber durch die Landschaft wandert und die Unterkunft zum Duschen, Schlafen und Frühstücken nutzt und die anderen Gäste das ebenso machen/den gleichen Rhythmus hat, dann stört das nicht.

Friendly host and good breakfast
Adequate sized clean modern room with large bed. Tea ,coffee, biscuits and sweets provided in the room, replenished each day. Also in hallway a selection of item to replenish yourself and a small honesty shop of treats. A fridge in hall was also available for guests use. Friendly owner who happily booked places for us to eat in the village as there is limited choice. Plenty of choice for breakfast, choose your cooked items on arrival. Good position for visiting Glencoe.
