    The location was great - right on the centre of the town.

    We were given the option of host assisted check in or self check in. We asked for host assisted check but got self check-in instead. My point here is why offer a service that is clearly not available. The key code for the door should have come through via Whattsap at 3pm. However it was sent via booking.com instead but as we got no notification about the change we did not know to check on there & had to call up to ask what the code was. Having arrived in Rovinj from the airport at 12noon with 2 heavy suitcases to drag along with us till we could get in the apartment at 3pm it became very stressful to find that the system had been changed with no prior notification. At one point we did wonder if we might be sleeping in the street on our first night.
