    Nice big apartment in a lovely suburb one minute from the beach.

    The apartment was big and comfortable with lots of amenities. The pool was nice and warm and being so close to the beach was great. It's also in a great location by the northern beaches and not too far to drive to Cairns. The residents and the staff were all really friendly and chatty. Really nice to sit out on the balcony.

    There were a couple of things broken like the shower knob and lamp. The fan in the lounge/kitchen was also quite slow. The internet was really slow and meant that the TV apps were basically unusable.

    The York is a very relaxing & lovely place to stay. I woukd definitely stay there again.

    Position: opposite green way beside the beach & rainforest behind. The gardens were beautiful. It was an advantage to have a kitchen & lounge with a veranda overlooking the green way opposite. The area is very quiet & I enjoyed hearing the waves lapping the shore. The York is close to the excellent Smithfield shopping centre.

    The bedroom window had some serious mould on the glass & window sill, which I cleaned. A good clean is needed behind the cupboards beside the bed. There are a number of scuff marks on walls that need to be cleaned.

    The location was awesome, we loved it. Comfortable apartment. Very nice host. The whole complex and neighborhood felt friendly and welcoming.

    I have nothing to say. I don't like geckos above my head, but that's nature!
