    Perfect family break!

    Everything was brilliant! The property is very well put together. Feels luxurious but cosy! Everything you could need and more in terms of plates, cups, glasses, utensils. Beautifully clean property. Extremely comfortable bed and lovely bedding etc. 10/10

    Stunning property

    Lovely surroundings, beautiful building and accommodation. Clean, tidy, warm and cosy. Everything you could wish for to be there. The host Claire is great with up to date communication and welcoming. Absolutely faultless. An actual home away from home.

    There is nothing to dislike about this beautiful property.

    It was such a beautiful property to stay at. The decoration of the cottage was of such a high standard and so comfortable and cosy at the same time. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need during your stay which was very helpful! Location wise was perfect for us visiting York and the surrounding area with a little dog. Into the countryside enough for it to be peaceful and relaxing and nice to walk the dog nearby but close enough to drive or catch a park and ride into the city! The property itself was gorgeous, without outside seating right outside the cottage and a table and chairs facing off into the garden and fields you can use to sit and watch the sunset in the evenings. Claire and family were so welcoming and warm and glad to have us stay, and we’re more than happy to help us with anything we needed (we didn’t actually need anything because we had everything already!)

    There is no signage when pulling into the driveway which would be helpful as we had to trust our judgement from photos from the booking

    Cottage is beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked for self catering, owners really have thought of everything. Location is brilliant for walking into the local village or getting to York.

    Owner stated building work would not be happening during our stay, both mornings work started at 8.30am, not overly intrusive but might be worth mentioning.
