  Comfortable stay in the mountains with generous hosts.

  Perfect place to stay before or after hiking Tiger Leaping Gorge, and to access lower gorge. The hosts are the most generous, kind people and we wish we could have stayed longer. Peaceful, picturesque location minutes from the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail. Incredible views from the balcony. Not to mention the outstanding food which is some of the best we have had anywhere in Yunnan. Highly recommend!

  Os donos são simplesmente incríveis! Me receberam com um chá quentinho depois de um longo dia de caminhada. Muito solícitos e a comida é simplesmente deliciosa! Me foi oferecido um upgrade de quarto! Este que era lindo, com varanda com vista para o desfiladeiro e o rio. O quarto era muito confortável e quentinho! Dormi escutando a água correndo no rio. Foi tudo perfeito! Eles também ajudaram a organizar o transporte para o meu próximo destino. Recomendo e voltaria com toda certeza!!! Ah, eles oferecem pick up se você chegar na Tina’s guest house caminhando ou de ônibus.

  A Wonderful and Authentic Experience

  In this region, which is undergoing rapid change, Tibet Guest House is a charming traditional guesthouse offering around ten bright and well-equipped rooms, each with a shower, toilet, TV, Wi-Fi, heated bed and slippers... But the real highlight of this place is the family who runs it. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, attentive and always happy to help. Our hosts speak a little English, which is a real bonus in this region! We absolutely loved our stay, from relaxing on the terrace with its magnificent views over the valley and surrounding mountains, to exploring the nearby trails and, above all, enjoying the delicious homemade local food, lovingly prepared every day! The guesthouse is also an excellent base for exploring the area’s hiking and trekking trails. Always ready to help, the hosts are generous with their advice, offer free transfers within a 3 km radius and can assist with arranging transport when needed. A few useful practical tips: * Getting there: You can arrive by car, by bus (get off at the Zhonghutiao stop 中虎跳) or by shared taxi. * Parking: Free parking is available in front of the guesthouse, but spaces are limited to around 3 or 4 cars. Be sure to mention your parking needs when booking. * Payment: WeChat Pay, Alipay or cash. Bank cards are generally not accepted, so make sure you have a suitable payment option available. We wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse for its outstanding hospitality, authentic atmosphere, delicious home-cooked food and breathtaking scenery. More than just a place to stay, it offered us a truly memorable human connection that we will cherish. A wonderful place for nature lovers, hikers and anyone looking for an authentic travel experience and genuine human encounters!

  El guesthouse es precioso, el lugar es espectacular y las habitaciones tienen camas muy cómodas y unas vistas magníficas. Tienen también su propio restaurante y su propia huerta. Pero lo más importante de todo: los dueños son una pareja encantadora: siempre atentos y dispuestos a ayudar. La mujer habla inglés, nos orientaron sobre la ruta de hiking y el marido nos llevó hasta el inicio del hiking en coche. Si te alojas aquí dos noches puedes usar un día entero para hacer el hiking completo y al día siguiente os ayudarán a contratar un conductor al siguiente destino. 100% recomendado. PD: su hijo que nos llevó a shangrila acaba de abrir también un guesthouse en la propia ciudad de shangrila. Y fue también encantador. Os recomendamos preguntarles por ello si shangrila es vuestra próxima parada.
