    Don’t be fooled. Tidal Retreat is a dump!

    Nothing. An absolute dump. Booked because site said in-room washing machine - there was not. On check in informed it was in laundry room attached to building. Said outside terrace - there was not. This was a meter wide walkway to other units. Dirty concrete with 2 chairs and air con units and not at all inviting. Very limited space in kitchen area, equipment and utensils pretty grubby. Did have a large fridge/freezer but that made quite a racket so nearly negated the benefit. But thank you for having the air conditioners blasting when we checked in.

    Everything. The worst appointed unit we have ever booked. No dining table or chairs- although you could fit them if you got rid of the two armchairs. A small dining would have been better since there was a two-seater settee. All well and good having a microwave and air fryer but no power point anywhere near. Extension lead behind the tv. With the tv plugged into it?? Everything, including the said settee (and cushions of which there were numerous) could do with a good scrub. Lots of crappy knickknacks taking up valuable storage/shelf space - people need room for their own stuff. Overall grimy and grotty.
