    Delightful cosy cottage in a very peaceful location.

    The quiet position, the bird seed provided which attracted lots of small birds, the sun patio with chairs, star gaxong on a clear night, the quirky furniture. Lots of room (we were only 2 and it caters for 4. . Overall it was a delighful place to come back to.. The neighbours we met were very friendly. The Coop in Ballantrae was bigger than expected and had a good range. The view from the car, of diving gannets just by the shoreline was amazing. Take your binoculars but you will hardly need them.

    The lighting in the dining room was too bright (11 spotlights!) - or too dim witth only natural light from the window and yu couldn't see to eat - let alone read. Also the instructions for almost everything (lock box, heating controls etc) did not fit the equipment that was actualy there - hence it was a long time before I could (almost) control the heating. The bedrooms had no chest of drawers at all or bedside chest. The provision for clothes was 5 hangers - and the fllorr!

    Amazing dog friendly stay in peaceful location.

    Very clean, thoughtfully decorated and extremely dog friendly. The little guide books they created were lovely and much appreciated.
