Dated decor and downstairs bathroom
Good location. We had to collect the keys from a neighbouring town which took 20 minutes to drive to due to bad traffic and narrow lanes. This was a very inconvenient way to start the holiday. We were also expected to return the keys to the same location but were unable to do so due to our onward travel plans. I would expect keys to be located and left at the property

Sea view Easy access to the beach Bi-fold windows in Sun room.
Building work next door No hot water pressure up stairs No warning sign for kitchen work surfaces which are not heat proof !

It was a relaxing break in a lovely location, I think the property issues can be resolved but the break was perfect.
The view from the veranda of the sea and beach as well as the cool breeze, a spacious property.
Parts of the property felt tired, tile off down the side of the cabinet in the upstairs bathroom, mirror lights didn’t work, laminate flooring was gappy. Kitchen cupboard handle came off and hit me on the foot, integrated dishwasher was not screwed in place and kept moving. Downstairs bathroom shower could not get hot water to work but then realised the hot is on the right and is normally on the left, this could confuse a person that is partially sighted, an unwritten rule hot is always on the left to stop unnecessary scalding for partially sighted or blind people. Back bedroom had water stains on the ceiling and something spilled on the carpet by the door.

Although there are things that can be improved would still stay there again.
The property was spotlessly clean very well equipped and very comfortable. The location is perfect. It was also a positive to have on site parking.
As mentioned in previous reviews the bathrooms need some updating. We couldn’t open the bathroom window because we couldn’t find the key. Eight people showering creates a lot of steam. Also having to go into Lyme Regis to collect the key was a negative. A key safe at the property would have been better.
