A small character flat very close to the beach

It's a character flat in a character building right in front of the marina (unfortunately all its windows face the courtyard, but that is clear from the description) and a 3 min walk away from the main beach. That alone makes it great if you are mainly visiting for the beach as we did. The interior of the flat is thought through with a common colour scheme and decoration motives which is also a plus. It wasn't very hot during our visit, but given that the windows open very wide hot weather there should bearable despite it sits on the top of the building's extension. Electric radiators are individually controlled which was very convenient for drying out wet clothes after the beach.

None of those points are critical and I would stay there again, but here is what could be better. * The flat was cleaner than most short lets usually are when we arrived, but there was still a lot of dust and rubbish behind the beds and the sofa * Bed linen was clean and plenty, but the mattresses under them were old and stained (although still comfortable). * One of the bedrooms used to be let separately and so there is an extra door which makes the already small corridor area difficult to use * The bathroom is quite small, and the water pressure could be better * You'll have to be home for deliveries as there is no space outside for delivery people to leave things for you in. You can use Amazon delivery point in a nearby supermarket though * Minor point - if you have small kids, the door cannot be unlocked from inside without a key. We ordered a stick-on child safety lock to solve that, and removed it before checking out
