    Great location for our 3 night stay

    We loved the location. Only 2-3 minutes walk to Skanderberg square and public transport (including the airport bus), the markets and easy walking to almost all of the main sights in Tirana. Cafes and restaurants are below the apartment but the apartment was fairly quiet. The apartment is accessed via walking through a small path in between the cafes which takes you to a small parking area. There is a small set of stairs (where the key locks are kept) to the left which leads into the lobby of the apartment building. Communication with the property owner was easy and helpful There is a large supermarket in a big modern mall within a 5minute walk.

    The lobby is dark and unkept and a bit off putting, but once up into the apartment we felt better. The apartment itself is a good size but quite dated. We didnt find any english speaking chanels on the TV which was disappointing. The main problem we had was that the bedroom didnt have curtains that covered the windows. We ended up using clothes pegs to try and connect the short side curtains together to darken the room. The bathroom was small and water from the shower always escaped onto the floor (even with the shower curtain pulled over)
