  Lovely property

  We booked this place very last minute after our original property became unliveable. Even though our host, Teresa, only had a few hours notice before we turned up, everything was perfect and communication was impeccable. The home itself is quite modern and spacious. There are 3 storeys with the 2 bedrooms on the top floor having proper beds, a toilet and a balcony with space for hanging washing. The 2nd floor had a separate bedroom with futon and balcony, plus fully equipped kitchen, dining/lounge and toilet. The ground floor has the bath/shower and laundry and another bedroom with mattress on the floor. The shower was the best we had all trip! Water pressure was fantastic! It's a short, easy walk to Kita-Ikebukuro station, FamilyMart and 7/11. There's a delicious udon/tempura izakaya at the station exit too. We didn't see any other places to eat but we didn't have time to properly explore the surrounding area. There are a handful of pegs provided but take your own clothesline if you will be doing a lot of washing. It dries really quickly on the 3rd floor balcony but the bathroom is also a drying room for bad weather. Fully equipped kitchen with toaster, rice cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer etc. You could comfortably live here for an extended stay. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there are barely any cars in the narrow streets. It's one train stop away from Ikebukuro and about 30 minutes from Shibjuku/Shibuya with one change. Teresa was very easy to deal with. We would definitely stay here again, thank you!

  The only downside was all the stairs 😅 My old knees struggled to get up and down after full days walking around Tokyo. I managed though and it's not an issue for anyone with good knees 😀

  とてもよかったです。

  閑静な住宅街にあり、静かに休むことができました。駅も遠くなく、利便性もよかったです。シンプルな作りながら、必要なものは全て揃っており、困ることはありませんでした。 当日の予約でしたが、オーナーさんが細かく連絡をくださり、安心して利用することができました。

  よくなかったところはありません。ただ、当方の車が大型（ハイエースワゴン）なこともあり、駐車場は停めるのご難しかったです（停められないことはなかったです）
