Perfect family getaway!
The lodge is beautifully presented, very clean, and has absolutely everything you could need. It’s very child friendly with things like stair gates, high chair, travel cot etc, all available. Rooms are pretty sound proof too. We had two toddlers in our party and whenever they were unsettled during the night the rest of the party couldn’t hear and so no one’s sleep was disturbed. The house is very spacious, has lots of comfy seating, and a huge dining table. It was great for our family. The location was perfect! Very tranquil, and the most stunning views. Close enough to Boat of Garten where we went for a meal. Only a 10 minute drive from Carrbridge where the kids enjoyed Landmark. We would definitely return.
Not really a negative point - just something to note; maps doesn’t take you to the exact location of the lodge and so a few members of our party turned up at the wrong house. The sign at the end of the road for Toms Lodge is pretty small too so is easily missed. However, the lovely owners do send clear directions beforehand, so definitely would make sure to have a look at those before setting off.

The location and the house was fantastic
The TV connection was poor , a few of our party wanted to watch the live Scotland match which was on normal terrestrial TV but we were disappointed to be unable to get any reception.

Relaxing weekend
A little break with my family in the beautiful highlands.. the lodge has great amenities as well as fabulous views.. it has everything that you need for a weekend away so just bring yourself . It has been very thoughtfully designed to maximise its potential..the hot tub was an added bonus..
Can’t really find fault. Just what we needed We were give instructions which turn to take which was ideal as the Sat Nav had us turning too early
