  I normally don’t write reviews, as I try to be understanding and accept that not everything will always be perfect when staying somewhere. However, this time I really feel that I should speak up, as there were simply too many issues during our stay. I would like to share our experience so that future guests know what to expect. The apartment looks modern and luxurious in the photos, with a nice design and expensive appliances. Unfortunately, the current condition is nowhere near what is shown in the pictures. It seems that the photos were taken when the apartment was new, while today the apartment is heavily worn and used. The difference is quite striking. During our very short one-night stay, we encountered several cockroaches, including one particularly large one. We also noticed cockroach prevention products in the apartment, which was concerning considering what we encountered. We informed the host, who responded quickly and arranged pest control, which we appreciate. There was also a strong and unpleasant smell in the bathroom, seemingly coming from the drainage. The overall level of cleanliness was disappointing. We found a pot with leftover pasta still inside, stored among the other pots. One of the curtains was partly torn, the AC was not usable even after trying working batteries in the remote, and although a hairdryer was listed among the facilities, there was none in the apartment. There was also an issue with the parking. The host provides a parking space in a nearby private and guarded parking lot, which is a useful benefit considering the apartment is in the city centre. However, when we arrived, the security guard demanded €20 for parking and refused to follow the instructions provided by the host. Even after we showed him the information on our phone, he insisted that we had to pay. We contacted the host, and he resolved the situation quickly and efficiently, so we did not have to pay.

  The apartment is cozy, clean and well equipped. The parking was more than welcome, as we were traveling by car.

  The shower drainage needs a bit of fixing, otherwise there is a risk to flood the bathroom even during a short normal shower.
