    Getting the deposit back was a nightmare

    I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing. The apartment itself was acceptable, but almost everything else was not. The property is located at a different address than the one shown during the booking process. I only received the actual address shortly before check-in, which was very frustrating after arriving in Los Angeles. The host also has very strict rules, additional requirements, penalties, and a high security deposit. Many of these conditions are not clearly presented during the booking process, so guests may not realize what they are agreeing to until after the reservation. The biggest issue was the security deposit. Getting it back turned into a process that lasted more than two months. I had to send countless messages, make phone calls, and spend a significant amount of my own time simply trying to recover my money. Communication was extremely poor, and without constant follow-up I honestly don't believe the deposit would have been returned at all. If you decide to stay here, be prepared for very strict conditions and be aware that getting your security deposit back may become a long, stressful, and frustrating experience. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property.
