It did the job, but it didn’t start off well,
Location and price relative to other hotels
We had to ask to change rooms. Our first room was smelly. The fridge was off and it filled the room with a stagnant smell. The shower had hairs in it from a previous guest. The hallway had food chunks on the floor and a hangar abandoned against the wall.

Roach came to visit while I ate my dinner.
Air conditioning unit was too cold. Switched heat on & it sparked & began to smell.

Great first impression with staff but the hotel facilities don't match. Worn and not welcoming.
The front desk reception staff was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. Love the hand drawn message on the chalk wall.
The cleanliness and general worn character of the facilities. For example in the room, the large chair was stained and dirty. Did not feel comfortable sitting there. In the bathroom the mirror is so discolored that I thought it was cracked. Just an overall appearance that was not welcoming or inviting.
