  THIS IS NOT A MARRIOTT

  DO NOT DO THIS! THIS IS NOT A MARRIOTT LEVEL PROPERTY!!! This must have been an old apartment complex that was slapped with a Marriott label. This was terrible! Pulling up it looks nice but there is not a sign one that says anything about Marriot on it. There is only a black square sign that says welcome. I wasn't sure if I was in the right place or not. I walked into a wood panel dingy area that had tiny rooms with a make shift office. I was pretty uncomfortable. They could not find my reservation. Then once found, they kept telling me that my digital card on file did not work. I had no idea what she was talking about as I do not use digital credit cards. After some time, she realized that she still had the wrong person's reservation. They are not on the Marriott app's system because this place is old and outdated so there is no digital key to your room. The parking lot is small and there was no place to unload the car at the front of the converted hotel. The elevator is small so only 3 people and luggage can go in at a time. The room is dirty. This place needs an overhaul, with a deep clean, repainting and fixing their plumbing. The beds had hair in them. The bathroom sink is cracked. The sink would not drain after brushing teeth. The toilet was clogged. The tub drain would not stay up so the tub would not drain. The furniture and cabinets are dated and gross. This looked like an 80's property that has had nothing done to it. We called to let them know the toilet was clogged and they said to come and get the plunger and do it yourself because they could not leave the front desk and there was no one else around. There were no paper cups. No dishwashing soap. No extra towels as asked for a family of 6. This place is filthy, old and had zero signs of being a Marriott. I cant believe that Marriott would even allow this place in this condition to be on their website to make a reservation for. Im not a Marriott member, but the location to the park was the reason that I booked this. This will have me never using a Marriott again in my life.

  Avoid TownePlace Suites by Marriott Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods at all costs.

  I am a Platinum Marriott Bonvoy member, and honestly, after this experience, I don’t even feel like staying at any Marriott property again. I had a confirmed reservation (I’ve attached the confirmation email), but when I arrived at around 10:30 PM, the front desk staff told me they couldn’t find my booking. Instead of helping, I was told it was my responsibility to contact support. No effort, no empathy, nothing. I called Marriott support and waited about 15 minutes just to get connected. The representative was completely unhelpful, talking about irrelevant things and wasting time. After another 15 minutes, he simply said he can't find booking and couldn’t help. Extremely unprofessional. When I went back to the hotel around 11–11:15 PM, the manager just said the hotel was full and told me to call support again. No accountability, no solution, just passing the problem around. I was literally left stranded late at night and had to spend time finding a different hotel and making a new booking. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a loyal Marriott customer. Worst experience ever. Do NOT stay here.
