Very happy with area and hotel. Would definitely stay again.
The rooms are very large and set up nicely.
Shower curtain rod fell down. A larger counter in the bathroom would be nice. Paint is chipping in the bathroom.

Housekeeping and Leadership issues
Stay elsewhere! I stayed at this hotel several times during and after renovations. The string of disappointments was almost comical. Housekeeping is a constant issue from regularly missing towels in the room, trash not being taken out, food left in refrigerator, and not having a room ready for check in at 9pm. The hotel recently went through major renovations. Some changes turned out very nice but so many chipped bathtubs and cheap shower curtains that fall down when you try to pull them. Placing the nice flat screen tv directly above the sofa was a bit of a head scratching decision. The general manager is beyond incompetent which tracks for the issues I regularly saw. I never reached out to complain about any of these issues, but was frustrated that the rewards points associated to my room rate or promised by the front desk staff were never fulfilled. I called the hotel at least a dozen times before having to speak with him in person to get any response. Sense then I had to follow up with several more emails and calls with still no reply. Some of the points were randomly awarded so getting there I guess....

Good place to stay
Overall good- Gal at front desk was helpful with getting us room on first floor as requested vs 3rd floor for disabled husband. Mgr on duty was greeting everyone which made you know he was present. The only comment was the ice machine was not working on floor one, so you had to go up and get ice- no biggie, but there was a baseball tourney and many kids chasing around. All for activity for kids but parents getting a block of rooms need to be aware that not acting the hotel is there for same event and be misfile kids can’t be running around or blocking the front entrance when some are walking with canes. Maybe a clause when renting a block that parents need to be honed in on their kids. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Our room was quiet-
