  Spijtig dat je geen uitzicht (meer) hebt over de prachtige omgeving!

  Echt traditionele woning! Dat was zoals beschreven.

  Jammer dat er slechts een klein eigen afgesloten (zonder een echt uitzicht) plekje is achteraan en dat de binnenplaats gedeeld is met het 2e huisje dat er vlak tegenaan ligt! Dat mag wel gezegd worden bij de beschrijving van het huisje!

  We stayed in a lovely little place for hikers, almost like a tiny local history museum

  I find the apartment excellent for travelers who would like to explore the island by car and have a safe and really quiet place to return to in the evening. The place is like an island of coziness and serenity in the middle of the mountain village, that probably had much more population back then when the house was built compared to what we see today. Even though there are some abandoned old village houses around, we felt ourselves very safe and at ease. The house is good looking, very clean and was equipped with everything that we needed. And everything really worked and was in a very good condition. We specially liked the very private balcony (or a small terrace) opening to the sea side. There are trees growing close to the balcony, thus, the sea view is maybe not as magnificent as it is when you drive down the mountain road towards Tigaki or Zipari. But the red dusk outlining beautifully the mountain tops of the Pserimos and Kalimnos islands is still an enchanting spectacle. And then you have a chance to hear the cicadas fall silent at sunset - all at once, almost as if someone had flipped a switch. And see the bats hunting insects close to the treetops still radiating the warmth of the day. These are wonders of the nature that you do not see while staying in the crowded beach hotel. The famous Zia village is around the corner and, if you like mountain hiking (in the sunrise), so is the track to mount Dikaios. The location is good, close to the center of the island, so many places of interest are just a short drive away.

  Ένα άριστο κατάλυμα, με αυθεντικό παραδοσιακό χαρακτήρα, πλήρως αυτόνομο και με πολλές ανέσεις. Βρίσκεται σε ένα πανέμορφο διατηρητέο χωριό και ξεχωρίζει για την ιδιαίτερη αρχιτεκτονική του και τα αυθεντικά χαρακτηριστικά του σπιτιού. Ένας χώρος με προσωπικότητα, που συνδυάζει ιδανικά την παράδοση με την άνεση. Ίσως ένα από τα καλύτερα καταλύματα του νησιού. Ο ιδιοκτήτης ήταν εξαιρετικά ευγενικός, φιλόξενος και πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει σε ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Η εμπειρία συνολικά ήταν υπέροχη και το σπίτι έχει μια ξεχωριστή ατμόσφαιρα που δύσκολα συναντά κανείς. Το παραδοσιακό στυλ, οι ιδιαίτερες αρχιτεκτονικές λεπτομέρειες και ο σεβασμός στην ιστορία του κτιρίου κάνουν τη διαμονή πραγματικά ξεχωριστή. Ένα μέρος που θα επέλεγα ξανά χωρίς δεύτερη σκέψη.

  A stay in an authentic Greek village on Kos in a gorgeous house with sunset views from the back pati

  The view at sunset was incredible and village had such an authentic atmosphere - no tourists, a lovely restaurant at the top of the hill to walk to, roosters as alarm clocks.

  I wouldn't change a thing- maybe just a motion activated light on the patio to get in at night without tripping
