    Perfect stay in a peaceful neighborhood.

    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at ToBay Fukui. I've come to Fukui three years in a row for a cycling event, and accommodation prices keep climbing while the quality doesn't, so I was glad to find a place that is genuinely worth the price. The house is clean, quiet and peaceful, everything works properly, and the host, Chizu-san, is very kind and accommodating. She even shared a persimmon she'd received from a neighbor. Chizu-san lives right next door, so if you need anything you can simply knock on her door. Otherwise she won't disturb you, and you'll have the whole house to yourself. I really miss staying in places like this, where the home is part of the host's own life and space, rather than a property renovated purely for renting out. ToBay Fukui is about a 20-25 minute drive from Fukui town, which made it easy to grab a meal, do laundry at a coin laundry, or stop by a supermarket. There are well-known sightseeing spots nearby too, but I'd recommend coming by car to make exploring easier. I may not take part in the cycling event again, but I'm looking forward to coming back to Fukui to discover more, and when I do, I'll stay at ToBay.

    Great place to stay, very spacious with multiple rooms. Bathroom was modern and everything was sparkling clean.
