  Wo die Seele Zuhause ist

  Eine komplett renovierte und modern ausgestattete Wohnung in bester Lage, mitten in einer beraubenden Landschaft und einem Dorf mit sehr guter Insfrastruktur. Viele (Rund)Wanderwege liegen direkt vor der Tür. In diesem Ort ist die Welt noch in Ordnung, was massgebend die Erholung beeinflusst. Die Küche ermöglicht ein vollwertiges Kochen und genüssliche Abende mit Partner oder Familie (ob mit Kind oder Hund). Die Einrichtung hat viele persönliche Details, die den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer machen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin verlief reibungslos und lösungsorientiert.

  Leider war bei uns der Fön kaputt, und der Fernseher hatte keinen Ton (da nutzt das beste Bild und die vielen Programme und Optionen nicht). In der Küche haben mir einige Teile gefehlt (Topflappen, Kartoffelstampfer, Salatbesteck, Pfannendeckel) - ist aber alles nicht essentiell. Die Badewanne hatte spürbare Schmutzränder von dem Vorgänger. Solche Dinge passieren leider, wenn die Vermieter nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe sind.

  Exceptional hospitality and very accommodating of check-in/out times, which was highly appreciated. The amenities were great; we felt at home immediately, and the view and location were outstanding.

  The apartment was quite hot, and without a fan, it was a little uncomfortable. However it was also exceptionally hot weather while we were there. We also walked a long way to get rid of the rubbish/recycling according to the rules, but the recycling facility was closed.

  Amazing apartment with beautiful views! We had a wonderful stay in Amden. The apartment was spacious, very comfortable, and even better than the pictures. The mountain view from the balcony and bedroom - you go to sleep and wake up with this view! We really appreciated the thoughtful details, especially having basics like rice, oil, and sugar in the kitchen. After a long flight and drive, it was so nice to be able to cook without having to go back out to the store. The location is excellent for hiking. The cable car, several hiking routes, and the tourist information center are all nearby. The cable car is CHF 10 one way or CHF 15 for a return ticket. There’s also a bus stop close to the apartment with connections to the trains. Unterterzen is about a 20-minute drive away and offers access to several cable cars and hiking areas. We paid around CHF 50 for a round-trip ticket covering three connections. There are beautiful walks and hikes for different fitness levels, including easier options for older people. We also visited Liechtenstein, but, we would have preferred to spend that time hiking in the mountains — the scenery around Amden is much more memorable! The 8 min drive takes you to the lake where you can walk in a park along the shore, but note- there is no hiking trail around the lake. There are water taxi for a lake ride. Take a picture of a big billboard map of the area with all hiking trails on it located near tourist center. Or we use All Trails App. Download Easy Pay app to pay for parking across Switzerland - it helped us a lot! Overall, a fantastic place to stay, especially if you love nature, mountains, and hiking. We would definitely stay here again!

  We liked it all!!! May we suggest a hiking map included in your beautiful welcome booklet - we found that map by walking in front of the tourist office and at cable cars in Underterzen. We wish we had seen it earlier to plan for hikes)
