    Let the peace inspire you.

    Loved just about everything. This cottage has a well outfitted kitchen. Off grid and perfectly functional. There was a generous supply of free firewood and that little fireplace kept the area incredibly warm and cosy. The peace of the property is very special, sitting outside on the expansive veranda, looking out at the mountains, listening to the wind in the trees and all the bird noise was perfect for the soul. The cottage has a small veggie garden you are free to forage. The gardens on this huge property are absolutely spectacular and you are free to browse. The shower is massive! Loved that! Staff were very friendly and helpful to any issues or questions we had. I spent some time chatting to a legend in the making - a bee whisperer - and learned a few interesting facts about bees. We loved our stay.

    The bed and bedding. A hard mattress that of itself is not a problem but a hard mattress that dips in the centre is problematic. Bedding was poly cotton that was a little disappointing. Nothing is more uncomfortable and hot than the little bit of poly! This was our only dislike of a perfect stay.
