    A very charming and elegant motel right in the centre of Akaroa within short walk of everything.

    Very nicely decorated and designed motel. The room was very quiet, clean, warm and the bed was extremely comfortable and I slept soundly. The spa bath was just what I needed after a long and strenuous hike. Exceptionally good value for money compared with Australia! A real treat and pleasure to stay here.

    Akaroa stay

    Warm, cosy room with plenty of space. Appreciated the little things like having tissues on the table and a plastic tumbler in the bathroom for toothbrushes. Comfortable good size bed. Near shops. Walking distance to waterfront but we didn't go down as it was raining heavily. Nice having blinds and curtains.

    Parking was very tight at the motel, we had to unload before parking so we could open the car doors - it would be helpful to remove the small hedge next to the stairs so cars don't get scratched in the end park. It might also be useful to number the parks with the room numbers.
