For the fortune we paid, the place was run down.
The location was right on the Royal Mile. With the Fringe going on, we walked into a party.
No heat, no garbage bags, TV remote didn’t work, bathroom ceiling was rotted through (and stank of mold), stairway was dangerously (narrow with poor lighting and no handrail in a place), bed had springs poking into my body.

We had a great time in Edinburgh. Most of our niggles were small and potentially easily fixed.
The location was perfect. All rooms were a good size. It was clean.
It was a bit shabby decor wise. The shower didn’t drain. The washing machine stuck out from the units that made the kitchen look badly designed. There was a huge cobweb behind the bedroom door. The bedroom furniture was lacking handles on the drawers and there were only 4 coat hangers.

Très bien situé mais beaucoup trop cher par rapport aux prestations
Emplacement parfait pour le Fringe Festival puisque situé dans la rue principale entre le château et le Holyrood Palace. On peut visiter quasiment tout Edimbourg à pieds à partir de l'appartement. Grande surface de l'appartement avec une belle hauteur sous plafond. Sanitaires propres. Lits assez confortables. Propriétaire très réactif aux demandes/questions
Vu le prix très élevé (même si c'était le Fringe...), les équipements ne sont pas à la hauteur et la décoration est vraiment à refaire (on a un peu une impression de délabrement). Lave vaisselle et lave linge en panne (moisissures dans le lave vaisselle), trop peu de vaisselle (4 petites cuillers...), 1 seul torchon, 1 seul petit saladier... L'intérieur des placards n'était pas très net. Les fenêtres, très sales, ne s'ouvraient pas toutes. L'escalier d'accès n'a pas été nettoyé une seule fois pendant notre semaine de séjour. La VMC de la salle de bain et la pompe pour l'eau sont très bruyantes
