    My family did enjoyed our stay

    The home was not clean. Everywhere was dusty. The electric kettle was full of limescale, the bread toaster was full of strong bread crumps and the shower room wasn't properly clean. Emphasis on house keeping.

    The location was great as it's a short drive to York, and the site was next to a lake with water activity's which is great on summer days

    Cleanliness of the accommodation, poor maintenance which resulted in injury and damage to clothing. Rusty radiators stained clothing, unmaintained shower burnt my scalp as the temperature gauge was broken, carpet trims lifted and had nails sticking out resulted in my child's foot being hurt, fridge freeze was not working correctly for our arrival and frozen foods lost. We have stayed three times, first time no issues, second time was poorly cleaned however we hoped it was a one off and we're apologised too, booked for a 3rd time and we have no decided we wouldn't return do to the cleanliness and the accommodation not being well maintained as you would expect when renting.     The location is great, it's nice and quite

    Unfortunately, the lodge was dirty and smelt of wet dogs, made the stay uncomfortable
