  We loved our stay. Our hosts were amazing, their house spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended

  We loved our Naoshima experienced. Our hosts were amazing and picked us up from the ferry, recommended a great restaurant for the evening and nice coffee spot for breakfast. The house was spacious and comfortable and we felt honoured to stay and have access to their wonderful and quirky collection of books and retro furniture pieces.

  An exceptional, authentic Japanese experience.

  Our stay at Tsumuya was truly EXCEPTIONAL — one of those experiences where every detail exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression. From the moment we arrived, Kuni and Akkie demonstrated a level of hospitality that was genuinely warm. They welcomed us personally at the port and transferred us to the house, ensuring we arrived well and were comfortable from the onset. We had a sense of this even before we arrived with various recommendations in advance so that miss out as October is a very season for Naoshima. Throughout our stay, Kuni and Akkie went above and beyond: arranging dinner reservations, suggesting thoughtful and structured itineraries, anssisysnce with bus and shuttle times and offering guidance that made our time on Naoshima unforgettable. The house itself has personality and charm, blending authentic Japanese elements with mid-century touches. Every corner reflects the owners’ care and intention — exceptionally clean and ordered, interesting art and furniture pieces and a fantastic art and photography book collection that gives the home a sense of depth and character. It felt less like an accommodation rental and more like being welcomed into a private residence. Their restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Each place we visited offered exceptional food and service, and we genuinely believe we experienced the very best that Naoshima has to offer thanks to their insight and local knowledge. What truly sets this stay apart is the feeling of being genuinely looked after. Kuni and Akkie’s kindness, attention to detail, and heartfelt hospitality transformed our trip into something special. We left with gratitude and admiration for the care they put into every aspect of hosting. Thank you so much, Kuni and Akkie. We will return to visit Naoshima and stay with you again without hesitation. A great time was had..🙏

  קוני מארח מדהים , הבית במיקום יחסית קרוב לאטרקציות באי ולתחבורה ציבורית

  קוני ואישתו היו מדהימים !!!! דאגו לאסוף אותנו בהלוך מהנמל . ובחזור להסיע אותנו למוזיאון ואח״כ לנמל בזמן שירד גשם. בית מלא בפרטי אומנות , בסגנון יפני מסורתי במרחק של כ10 דקות מהדלעת הצהובה והחוף ומבתי קפה ומסעדות פוטונים נוחים מאוד לשינה מטבח מאובזר בכיריים , מיקרוגל וכלים
