  Lovely cottage in great location.

  Lovely cottage in excellent location. Convenient for shops and pubs (within shore strolling distance). Easy drive (and bus) to key leisure destinations. Very clean. Initially we were concerned about the parking, but throughout the week's stay we had no problem finding parking for two cars along Crossley Moor Road - a short walk.

  It was a long walk to the toilet at night, but that's what you get for staying in a period property. It is a small house for 6 and would have been "snug" if all 5 of us had wanted to spend the evening watching telly together. This was offset by the otherwise excellent quality of the facilities.

  Was nice.

  Lovely quirky home situated well for a base.

  Unfortunately the windows let in traffic noise as they are single glazed and being right on the road, upto around 12 at night then from 6.30 in the morning it can become quite noisy. Also we didn’t realise it was pet friendly so quite a lot of dog hair.

  A truly magical, cosy cottage where you feel transported back in time. Everything you could need, wonderful hosts and a

  Staying in this magical place feels like stepping back in time. A charming, cosy and absolutely wonderful cottage with so much character. It has everything you could possibly need, and even more. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a fantastic stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place. We will definitely be coming back!

  Tubs Cottage: Home from home.

  The cottage was clean and smelled lovely, fostering a feeling of being welcomed. Furniture, fixtures and fittings were of a high standard. The cottage provided a base for weary explorers to return to each night. My grandchildren settled very quickly and treated the cottage as 'home from home'.

  The only draw back is the location. The road the cottage is situated is on a very busy main road. Young drivers were speeding up and down the road. That being said, I do need to point out, this issue did not spoil our stay. I would reccomend this cottage and would book again in a heartbeat!
