Top of the bucket list - African paradise!
I had an amazing time at Tulani. What an intimate experience with nature coming up so close with the Big 5 in their natural environment. The food was exceptional and the staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgable. The lodge has an exquisite atmosphere and compared to other Big 5 lodges I have visited, this has been the absolute best.

The location was great, and the waterhole was a wonderful touch—especially with elephants spotted drinking from it. A truly memorable experience.
For the price, the food didn’t quite meet expectations—there was a good effort put in, but it wasn’t a 5-star experience. Would recommend they get a qualified chef. Similarly, the room felt a bit underwhelming given the cost and needs a bit of TLC.

Amazing location, people food and facilities
We enjoyed every bit of our stay at Casart and we would recommend the accommodation to everyone. The location is a 10/10 and with the infinity pool watching over the water pool, we were able to see amazing animals. The people that work at Casart (especially Sonia, Yannick, and Stanford) are very passionate about the animals and only care about making the stay as comfortable as possible for the guests. The food and facilities are very good as well and we do not have any complaints/tips that would have made the stay better.

Bad experience
The Game drive and massage was nice The boat ride was also nice, it's just that you get to drive for the whole 1h30 to the boat and back in mostly bumpy roads. The stuff is very kind but not the owner she's so pretending.
You can't choose what to eat for dinner they choose for you unless when you are allergic 😢. I modified my booking to a room with jacuzzi and included dinner on the price, but unfortunately on my departure i had to pay R1980 for dinner forcefully so 😢. The road to Casart very bad only suitable for 4x4, we had to hire a tow truck to load us out of the place, extra R1700. Place is so beautiful in pictures 🙄, when you get there it's different story, it actually doesn't deserve the price so ridiculous. The boat ride is booked outside the lodge of which you drive another 1h30 min in a bumpy road to get to the other lodge for the Boat. The owner is such a good pretender, i don't see myself go back there🤞, I'm now scared of the whole Grietjie.
