    Oh this was a wonderful place to stay that felt like home, and wrapped us in warmth and comfort...

    There was no breakfast included... but there was a lovely little kitchen with a cooker, fridge, microwave, dishes and cookware, so we could prepare all the meals we wanted right there. The (bed)room upstairs was really big (but a folding room divider would have been lovely to provide some privacy in the space). Although it took us a couple of days, with Paul's help we were able to learn to use the TV/streaming system for the few times we did watch the excellent-quality TV. WE also LOVED having Paul's sheep right outside our windows; we loved the pub within walking distance down the road; and oh, we loved the peace and quiet...

    We felt that it really would be good to have more lighting in the sitting room, especially in the dining room area (as there was no desk so the dining table had to do double-duty). Paul, our excellent host, brought us a floor lamp that made a huge difference. (But having a stand-alone desk with good lighting would have been great.) We would also have appreciated having a dresser with (6) drawers, as there was only one small hanging rod at only one end of the large upstairs (bed)room, so we had to live out of our suitcases for the whole week we were there.

    Amazing stay!

    Exceptionnel

    Le confort et la gentillesse de notre hôte. Le logement était très fonctionnel et très confortable. Le calme assuré.

    L’escalier pour monter à la chambre est un peu raide. 2 grands lits sans séparation.
