    This island HAS to be on your bucket list!!

    The villa was huge and exceeded our expectations. It was central to everything we wanted to see and offered more that we didn’t know about. The island boat trip with Johnny To mavea was the absolute highlight of our holiday!

    That it didn’t have Port Olry’s beach lol There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We loved not having a tv making noise but maybe next gen wouldn’t cope.

    Comfortable and relaxing place to stay with the ocean at your doorstep

    We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa for 9 days. It was comfortable and had a well-equipped kitchen. The view from the verandah was stunning and while it was windy on other parts of the island, Turtle Bay was protected from the worst of it. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

    Unfortunately the snorkelling was not very good at the resort but on the plus side the onsite kayaks were a hit for exploring.

    Beautiful accommodation on the water with a delightful host

    Alex, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to ensure we had a good trip and had everything we needed. The accommodation is out of town, right on the water so you could just hear the sound of the ocean at night. You have a kitchen so you can prepare all of your meals, which is great for those on a budget. There is a restaurant just down the road if you prefer to eat out. The kayaks and paddle boards are also free to use and the area in which you can explore is absolutely stunning. There are some really cute dogs living next door which made our stay even more enjoyable. We really enjoyed the few days that we stayed here.

    There's no shops nearby so you need to buy everything in town before you head out there.
