Beautiful villa, excellent host and a lovely location for a chilled out holiday.
The host picked us up from the airport and was very friendly and accommodating from the start. The host let us into the property and gave us the low down on the property and how to use certain things which was very helpful as we are not used to operating things like air con and window shutters. The host was also always on hand via a quick message if we hand any questions. The Villa is conveniently located with restaurants and bars in walking distance, a couple just down the road and many more around a 10/15 walk away. If I take another holiday to Crete and around the Heraklion area I will be checking in with Turtulli Castle for availability because we could not have asked for anything better.

It was in a very good location with shops nearby as well as a bus stop that could take you into Malia and nearby cities. There was also a nice beach nearby. The pool was a good size and warm, and the property itself was lovely, the rooms were clean and tidy.
There were a couple electrical issues when we stayed there, but these were quickly resolved and the owner was very good at responding and sorting out any issues.
