    Lovely start to holiday

    Stayed here for 1 night before joining a cruise ship , very convenient location about 25 minutes drive to cruise terminal. Very comfortable and clean accommodation with good breakfast. Welcoming and pleasant hosts, would stay here again if requiring pre-cruise accommodation.

    Easy to access and park, excellent breakfast, pub opposite, friendly and helpful owner, lots of local information. Good base for the New Forest and nearby coast. It appeared that you could also leave your car if going away on a cruise from nearby Southampton.

    We had the Maple room and found the bathroom a bit small, particularly as door was noisy and difficult to close. This was our only issue.
