Stay at Twin Oaks
The hosts were great communicators. The property address was clearly marked. The check-in instructions were clear. The check-out instructions were not over the top.
There could be more lights in the driveway even if they're just the solar ones.

The area around us seems a little crowded but we felt like we were the only one there. It was quiet and peaceful. We had Tammy was very quick to answer and fix problems. Definitely considering another trip there.
We have nothing to really complain about. The hot water pressure was pretty low. The bed in smaller bedroom was beautiful. Handman from.logs and I scraped my leg getting in bed not realizing how big the log was!

Tammey was on top of emails and sharing information - we howdy'd from the parking lot the first day.
Location was pretty good - took me a few trips in to get used to it, but centrally located. Mom suggested that the second bathroom mirror could be a little taller, she's only about 5'2 so it was too high for her to see her face, lol - and she didn't see a stopper for that tub, but as she was taking a shower it was not an issue.
Actually wasn't bad, but an adventure. Since it was July 4th and we were going to Singing in the Smokies and much of downtown was closed off for the coming fireworks, we were directed by maps to go Old River Road (about 1.5 mile stretch) to Governor's Island. Since we aren't local, it felt a little like off-roading and meeting other cars there was no joke - but that's our fault for not paying attention to our maps, we could have chosen an alternate route, and we did coming home that evening! On the plus side, the views of the river along there are gorgeous, and there are spots where one can pull off for other cars to pass or to stop and look a bit. Honestly wish we had found it earlier, hubby and I would have enjoyed that.
