  Great holiday accommodation near Canal Walk

  Location was perfect. Spar very close Canal Walk a 15 minute walk along safe pedestrian route. Accommodation was comfortable and well equipped. Didn't need power backup. Secure parking

  Not enough hangers in wardrobe. Otherwise no problems

  I would not recommend this place. It has potential but it needs proper and professional management and cleaning.

  Good location, close to Canal Walk Mall.

  When I arrived at the property, the security guard told me that there is no booking for me. There is also no reception. He then tried to phone to find out what is going on, the person he phoned initially made it sound like there’s nothing he can do because they don’t know which apartment was allocated to me and that they did not receive paperwork for my stay. I told them that I had booked everything through booking.com and that a Daniel sent me a message confirming my stay when I booked in February. After an hour and a half of standing outside in the cold at 22:40 I received a call from Daniel sounding like he didn’t know we were coming today, although he confirmed our dates and we paid in full. He said he forgot about the paperwork and thus no one was aware of my booking. He rocked up and barely spoke to us until he was escorting us up to our apartment. After all this he said he was sorry, but my guests and I were quite upset at the lack of organisation. The poor security guy did his best to try and help us but the host was terribly organised and I can only assume he forgot about us. I then had to complete forms on my phone at 23:00. Furthermore, the apartment looks very nice but the sliding door to the balcony from the master bedroom does not lock, I found a very suspicious looking hair stuck in one of our towels. There was only one teaspoon and the coffee machine was dirty. The gas stove also did not work properly and we avoided it because it was a bit dangerous. There is also only one set of keys for a four person booking, and we were two couples who didn’t always move around together.
