    Picturesque hideaway with a lovely host and facilities , but let down by a strong smell of musk

    Fantastic property and location. Amazing for those who want to disappear and just turn off from work ect… Paul was lovely and gave a really warm welcome

    The stay was almost perfect so I say this is literally the only thing I can moan about , however the only thing which myself and partner agreed on was a strong really musky/damp smell from the downstairs bedroom . It was otherwise a perfect stay

    Disappointing stay, misleading marketing but great location

    We loved the overall location, it's a good base for exploring. It's easy to park and the directions were easy to follow. Information sheets provided at the property were helpful.

    While this property is advertised beautifully online, we found the reality didn't match this. The lean-to is located on the end of an unfinished, dilapidated barn, which was disappointing. Inside, the space feels somewhat worn, it could perhaps do with a deep clean. There are some maintenance issues for example the two skylights in the sitting area leak when it rains. The property has great potential, but the current marketing is misleading and the experience falls short.

    Location

    We would have preferred a property with more privacy, we didn’t expect to live next door to the owner. Owner was lovely but we didn’t expect this when we booked. Otherwise lovely , just not exactly what we were looking for
