    The location was great, the cottage itself was beautiful located in a small lovely village

    I did not like the fact that there was no warning or instructions on the hot water supply. We were really looking forward to have a bath and we did not have hot water all day and night.So 1 full day of our stay was affected. The host leaves the right to take a 250£ refundable deposit *though on booking it says 200, but this is a basic and very crucial need for the group of 4 people. It really affected our stay and we are really disappointed. The message that I received was not helpful at all as they said the hot water is on, whilst it was NOT

    Short break

    Beautiful cottage and well equiped

    Garden not secure so if taking a dog not able to let out unless on a lead. Parking ok but resident cars cause a little obstruction to driving out of parking space. There is an £80 charge for cleaning and a £250 deposit in case of breakage which not had before. Actually cost is not a reflection of the add ons.

    A perfect bolthole in an ideal location for visiting the Derbyshire Dales.

    One of the loveliest holiday homes we’ve stayed in. Beautifully decorated, very comfortable beds and furniture, great quality linens. Everything has been considered really carefully. And the garden is perfect for finding a quiet moment to read and relax.

    We loved everything about it and hope to return one day 😊
