    Quiet and peaceful. Very clean and had everything you need, including extras e.g. milk and bread. Host very friendly as were the dogs and chickens.

    A retreat and a treat

    So much thought had gone into making my stay the most enjoyable. Peaceful and pleasurable. Didn’t want for anything but if you did nothing would be too much trouble by the wonderful hosts. Delicious welcome pack with exceptional treats. Stunning location could have easily stayed there for months at a time. This place is a retreat and a treat.

    Dogs, chickens, and isolated comfort. Tŷ Barcud has it all!

    What *didn’t* we like … We lived everything! Barb met us at the driveway and showed us to the pod, introducing us to her dogs and chickens on the way. The pod was amazingly clean and tidy (although SO HOT in the weather!) and we were shown to an info guide that gave you information on everything including local attractions. Barb and Hew could not have been friendlier and any questions we had were soon answered.

    Not the property so much as the roads leading up to it; it’s very isolated and accessible by some single track roads. Fine if you - and the driver heading straight at you - are cautious and happy to reverse back to the nearest passing place. Be careful, be cautious, and beep when going round blind corners!
